The Journey of a Knife
Every blade starts as a bar of raw steel. Here is how it becomes a knife.
01
Forge & Shape
A bar of high-carbon steel is heated in the forge and hammered into rough shape on the anvil, one strike at a time.
02
Heat & Quench
The blade is brought back up to temperature and quenched to lock in hardness, then tempered so it holds an edge without turning brittle.
03
Grind & Sharpen
The edge geometry is ground in, the blade is refined to its final profile, and the cutting edge is brought to a working sharpness.
04
Handle & Finish
A handle in wood, antler, horn, or G10 is fitted and finished, and the knife is paired with a kydex or leather sheath built to match.
